The Church in the Crescent featured in The New Orleans 100

Housed in the oldest building on the Mississippi Delta, “The Church in the Crescent: Three Hundred Years of Catholicism in New Orleans” celebrates the city’s Tricentennial through the eyes of faith.

With incredibly preserved relics, letters, portraits and photographs, the exhibit tells the story of the small wooden church established in the crescent of the river that would become the iconic St. Louis Cathedral and the faith of the people who have worshiped there for 300 years.
